Point The Pros Donat Have To Handle

The professionals on the PGA and European Tours have experienced to handle plenty of unusual weather this season, but even in the face of wind and water, the split reasons crews manage to keep things in good condition. Not so for amateurs at the neighborhood muni. While the fairways and greens at my favorite local course are mostly free of larger trash, sticks abound. The photo above is my ball sitting on the seventeenth green. The putt was greater than a bit tricky. But hereas my theory: every twig I hit would sometimes affect my ball closer to the correct line or away from it. Fifty-fifty chance. Hit the right amount of sticks and it goes in. I struck the wrong number. The putt missed by six inches. Tap in. Significant cold temperatures storms in Michigan left lots of heavily damaged trees in my own town. Havoc was also played by them with the woods at Green Oaks. It wonat be long though, until all is cleared away and winter is but a memory. Summer is coming.
