Arsenal v Manchester United: squad sheets - The Guardian

Arsène Wenger says he wants Robin van Persie to be "respected" but, in reality, it is not going to happen. Some Arsenal supporters are even threatening to turn their backs on the guard of honour that ushers in Manchester United and the returning Van Persie as champions. Yet it is also fair to assume they will be looking enviously towards their former hero. Olivier Giroud, signed to replace him, has not even managed half of Van Persie's total of 24 league goals this season and will be suspended after his red card against Fulham last weekend. Arsenal, trying to nail down a Champions League place, go into this match 21 points behind their opponents and have beaten United only once in the last 11 attempts. Daniel Taylor

Subs from Mannone, Martínez, Gnabry, Jenkinson, Monreal, Yennaris, Arshavin, Vermaelen, Squillaci, Miquel, Coquelin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky, Gervinho

• Despite having the best defence in the Premier League away from home this term, 12 teams have a better record at their own home than Arsenal

More Info: Molde FK - Stromsgodset - Norwegian Elitserien
