Mar 2, 2013 10:10:00 PM Sir Alex Ferguson has established that the 39-year-old will reach the landmark by featuring in the midweek Champions League clash with the Spaniards at Old Trafford After relaxing Giggs for the comfortable 4-0 win over Norwich on Saturday, Ferguson unveiled that the Welshman will achieve his approaching milestone in midweek. And the Scot explained he felt the game against Jose Mourinho's part will be a fitting occasion to do so. "[Giggs] will undoubtedly be involved on Tuesday. We couldnat miss that time for the lad. He deserves it," he told MUTV. Former United midfielder Ray Wilkins was also eager to lavish praise upon the 39-year-old, as a "credit" to soccer describing him. "He is up there with everyone in the club's history, you can't play 1000 games unless you're the business enterprise, there's no two ways about any of it, Ryan over his career has been totally outstanding," he told reporters. "He still has that same attitude, that same enthusiasm for the overall game and it is just beautiful to view him perform. I believe the guy is a huge credit to our baseball, I really do. To stay at a like Manchester United for that period of time is simply incredible."
