Chelsea Hamilton Academical work appeals to Gianfranco Zola - Crunchsports.com

Watford manager Gianfranco Zola has suggested he might be persuaded with a come back to Chelsea as manager. Current interim Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez this week presented a biting attack on the club's board and supporters in an extraordinary post-match argument, and after confirming he will leave Chelsea by the end of the growing season, the search is on to find his successor. Real Madrid instructor Jose Mourinho is the bookmakers' preferred to be Chelsea's next director, but Zola has admitted he'd be keen on time for Stamford Bridge at some point in the foreseeable future. The Italian says he is happy at Watford, but said "you never know" when asked of a come back to west London. And it appears the Zola still features a good relationship with Blues manager Roman Abramovich. "He tried to bring me back and really respected me, but I was attached up," Zola told theADaily Star. "He always had, I think, a higher value in myself. And that means you never know." When asked if Chelsea had tried to create him within their training set-up, he added: "There has always been a pastime from them. It was not worked by us out, but we have a high respect and appreciation for every single other."
