Woods history, naturally, characterizes CBS broadcast

CBS announcer Jim Nantz light emitting diode off the network's Masters protection Saturday by describing what Padraig Harrington did the day before on the 15th hole as an "innocent" and "absent-minded" error. CBS focused the very first 12 minutes of its broadcast from the Masters totally to Woods, who was simply offered a penalty earlier in the afternoon for a bad fall that generated his signing an scorecard after his second round. Woods' shot on the 15th hole of the 2nd round struck the flag stick and returned back in the water. He got his punishment drop 2 yards behind where he hit the original chance, a rules violation. Woods was linked for 17th if the third-round broadcast started at 3 p.m. EDT, five pictures off the cause. His story dominated the first protection, and another player was not mentioned by CBS until 3:12 p.m. Augusta National said it absolutely was Nantz who notified Masters officers Friday that Woods' post-rounds remarks were producing some doubts, leading to another assessment. Woods had said after his round, "I went back to where I played it from, but went two yards further back and I tried to take two yards off the photo of what I felt I struck. And that will land me in short supply of the flag and not need it either hit the flag or skip within the back. I thought that has been going to be the right decision to take off four (yards) right there. And used to do. It exercised perfectly."
