Well, this can be a surprise. As observed by the business's official website, former WWE champion Rob Van Dam made a surprise look at Saturday night's Hall of Fame ceremony at Madison Square Garden. RVD left WWE in 2007 and, sans his one-off appearance at this year's Royal Rumble, has been gone since. When questioned by WWE.com about his appearance, he described, "Iam here to aid my child Booker T." Booker T is, of course, being inducted as part of this year's Hall of Fame school. Apparently, he was also asked concerning the likelihood of a possible return: As time passes away from WWE, much chatter was sparked by RVDas surprising appearance backstage at the Garden. However, WWE.com had to ask the former success if he had any plans to go back to his old stomping grounds. To that, Van Dam only had one answer. aThereas often a chance.a RVD's future in wrestling is up in the air. He joined WWE's rival, Impact Wrestling, in 2010 and had a mainly hit-and-miss run with America's No. 2 advertising. Sure, he actually won the planet subject and had many good matches there, however for the most part he usually seemed indifferent and bored. The star came down as especially bad when you compare his lukewarm attempts to those of young up-and-coming talents like Austin Aries and Bobby Roode. Like he was in Impact Wrestling for the paycheck and little else good or not, it came off. As WrestlingInc records, his Impact Wrestling commitment recently ended, and the 2 have seemingly parted ways permanently. Within an meeting many weeks ago with VOCNation (via PWTorch), he talked about "life after TNA" and concentrating on his forthcoming clothing line. Though he did reveal the door was still available to return there, if he wished to. So, RVD is really a free agent, but must HE be signed by WWE if the chance arises? What would you think? Is he too old? He's 40, in the end. Did his contradictory TNA work bad people on him? Or does the WWE need all of the stars it can get today?
