Fulham compared to. QPR: Final report 3-2 as self-destructive urge dooms...

QPR suffered among the stranger losses of the season as a number of horrendous problems doomed them to a decline at Craven Cottage despite a reasonable functionality on the night. Queens Park Rangers did themselves no favors against Fulham at Craven Cottage, over and over shooting themselves in the foot with a terrible first-half performance and winding up with a 3-2 loss. The 'star' of the strange present was January signing Christophe Samba, who contrived to give away a charge in the eighth second. Having dispossessed Dimitar Berbatov, the Congolese defender will need to have thought the Cottagers' strike was over. It wasn't. Ashkan Dejagah nicked the ball right back, and Samba's awkward lunge brought the kid down. Berbatov stood over the area and sent the wrong way to Julio Cesar from twelve yards. Samba was responsible for the 2nd as well. After Clint Hill came in a inch approximately of finding himself sent off with a lunge on Giorgos Karagounis, with Bryan Ruiz hanging the resultant free end only vast, his centre straight back partner again made a crucial mistake, providing the ball to Berbatov and looking in mute horror as the centre forward finished past Cesar with the exterior of his shoe. Things got even weirder in the 41st second when a Hill own purpose gave the hosts a 3-0 lead. Fulham hub half Brede Hangeland ambled up the frequency before environment John Arne Risse clear with a backheel, and the left back's corner cannoned off Hill's face and directly into the back of the net. All that was left for the Cottagers to complete was to shut it out, right? Which may have already been what Martin Jol was thinking, nevertheless the sport then took a sharp left turn. Karagounis, under great pressure in midfield from Stephane Mbia, coughed up the ball, and Adel Taarabt let fly from variety, the ball somehow sneaking past Mark Schwarzer and into give QPR wish right before the halftime whistle. Following the break, they had significantly more than desire. It was an all-out assault from the visitors, and within three full minutes of the system they'd still another foothold in the overall game -- or so it seemed. Taraabt transpired under Karagounis' challenge, Jon Moss pointed to the spot... and Loic Remy's attempt was kept out by Schwarzer, how went hard to his left for the stop. And then, three minutes after missing the charge, Remy scored. Mbia created a wonderful through ball to find out Hangeland, and the former Marseille man handled wonderfully and slotted past Schwarzer to bring the debt back to a goal. As both parties looked for -- and came close to -- an additional target Issues then resolved in to an back-and-forth pattern. Very nearly around 30 minutes of some dicey moments were featured by that, which for both goalkeepers, Steve Sidwell determined he was bored of that nonsense and went in late on Armand Traore. Was it a red? Yes, by definition, since Moss sent him down, but Craven Cottage was not especially happy. Regardless, Fulham had to understand the game's final cause with ten men. They managed pretty much, and were actually denied a charge when alternative Nedum Onouha ripped down Karagounis in injury time. There was no miracle QPR fightback, and they were consigned by the final whistle to a 3-2 beat. Had they not been so intent on self-destruction in the first half, this all may have looked completely different. The Championship looms. Follow @SBNationSoccer on Twitter
