Alex Ferguson warns Manchester United stars: Dont step of the gas ...

With the Premier League virtually sewn up and a place in the last eight of the Champions League beckoning, Fergie wants his stars to keep their feet on the gas.

And Monday's man-of-the-match Nani said: "It is very important, the manager has told us that he wants to win the FA Cup and we are very focused on this competition.

Nani stepped out of the Old Trafford shadows with a goal against Reading and an assist for Javier Hernandez's clincher.

The Portuguese winger, 26, was offered to Zenit St Petersburg this season and has also been linked as part of a package for Porto's Colombian winger James Rodriguez.

Nani's close pal Anderson, 24, believes that despite struggling to hold down regular first-team places, the pair can be part of a group who could form the backbone of the team for the next few years.

Anderson believes he is getting back to his best after being plagued by knee and hamstring injuries for much of the past three years.

Plus, they are favourites to KO Real Madrid and reach the last eight of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu in the first leg of their second-round clash.

"We have a good team, we have a good squad and if everyone remains focused and concentrated then we can win everything.
